Position Name: Engineering leader for Oil & Gas Field Services for Digital SolutionsLocation: Mumbai/Thane/Navi MumbaiPosition Overview: The Engineering Leader for Oil and Gas Field Services will be responsible for leading the digital transformation initiatives within Oil field services. This role involves strategizing, developing, and implementing digital solutions to improve field operations, streamline processes, and enhance overall performance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both the oil and gas industry and digital technologies, with a proven track record in leading complex projects and driving technological innovation.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy: Lead the development and execution of digital strategies that align with customer goals and address the specific needs of field services within the oil and gas sector. Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their requirements, addressing their challenges, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customized digital solutions. Project Oversight: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Apply project management methodologies and best practices to achieve project objectives. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and technology partners, to gather requirements, address challenges, and ensure successful deployment of digital solutions. Leadership: Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technological trends and innovations in the oil and gas industry. Evaluate new technologies and recommend enhancements to continuously improve field services. Training & Support: Ensure that training programs developed for the team covers both tactical and strategic (long term) goals aligned with each account, and hence ensure effective utilization of digital tools.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital transformation or project management are plus. Experience: Minimum of 18 years of experience in digital solutions, with at least 5 years in the oil and gas industry.
Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects and managing large-scale initiatives. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of digital technologies, including software development, IoT, and cloud-based solutions. Familiarity with industry-specific tools and platforms is highly desirable.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and applying methodologies such as Agile or Safe or managed services model of delivery for support projects. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated ability to use data to drive strategic decisions and process improvements. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
Travel: Willingness to travel to customer locations, including local and other cities within India, as required.
