A Style editor is responsible to review and revise the styling accuracy and quality, including font, punctuation, and formatting of references. It also includes to communicate and work with production team to ensure that content is published in a timely manner.

Role & responsibilities

  • At least 0-1 year of experiences in style-editing HSS/STM books
  • Familiarity with different style manuals such as CMS, APA, AMA, etc.
  • Enhancing authors text to improve the overall readability of research articles.
  • Handling high level of copy editing which includes both style and language aspects.
  • Handling heavy math articles/books.
  • Handling complex tables and chemical equations.
  • Familiar with various style manuals such as Chicago, APA, CBE, AMA and MLA.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate degree
  • Must possess high analytical ability and comprehension skills.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English.
  • Willing to work in any shift.
