About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Specialist System Engineer – MS Exchange (L2)
to join our growing IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in
Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Mobility Solutions
, ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of our messaging ecosystem.

You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, support migration projects, and enhance our enterprise communication infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support
    Microsoft Exchange Server (On-Premises and Online)
    environments.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of
    Exchange and Mobility platforms
    by resolving issues efficiently.
  • Perform periodic
    system health checks, backups, and housekeeping
    to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Administer and troubleshoot
    Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and WINS
    components.
  • Collaborate with
    infrastructure and security teams
    for setup, management, and administration of the messaging environment.
  • Participate in
    infrastructure and EUS projects
    , executing assigned tasks as per project timelines.
  • Support
    migrations from Exchange On-Premises to Exchange Online (O365)
    , including
    post-migration mailbox support
    .
  • Prepare documentation and provide required data for
    audits and compliance reviews
    .
  • Develop and maintain
    automation scripts
    using PowerShell and VBScript to streamline daily operations.
  • Participate in regional initiatives, discussions, and meetings related to messaging infrastructure.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Microsoft Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019)
    and
    Exchange Online (O365)
    .
  • Excellent understanding of
    Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and WINS
    .
  • Solid grasp of
    networking fundamentals
    , including mail routing and SMTP concepts.
  • Strong
    PowerShell scripting
    and
    VBScript
    skills for automation.
  • Experience with
    migration projects
    from On-Premises to Cloud.
  • Familiarity with
    mobility solutions
    such as
    AirWatch, Workspace ONE, and Intune
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Cisco IronPort
    or other email security gateways (preferred).
  • Good understanding of
    enterprise mobility products
    like
    BlackBerry and AirWatch
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science
    ,
    Information Technology
    , or a related discipline.
  • Microsoft certifications such as
    MCSA/MCSE: Messaging
    or
    Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
    preferred.
  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience managing
    Microsoft Exchange
    and related infrastructure.
