Position Overview:

A techno functional profile for Microsoft Business Central combines strong technical skills (configuration, development, integration) with in-depth functional understanding of business processes, system design, and end-user requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and customizations for Business Central
  • Configure, develop, and customize Business Central modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) to align with organizational needs.
  • Perform data migration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting across modules.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (business users, management, tech team) to provide effective solutions, document workflows, and support system adoption.
  • Provide end-to-end implementation support and post-go-live assistance, including user training and technical support.
  • Stay updated with the latest Business Central features and recommend innovative improvements.
  • Develop technical documentation, user manuals, and functional design documents to support ongoing projects.
  • Ensure security, manage upgrades, and lead compliance or audit-related technical activities.

Core Skills & Qualifications

  • 6-8 years experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central implementation and support.
  • Proficiency in AL, C/AL, and technical components like extensions, APIs, and integrations.
  • In-depth knowledge of major modules: Finance, Inventory, SCM, Manufacturing, and supporting business processes.
  • Experience in end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, development, configuration, deployment, and post-implementation.
  • Excellent communication, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred.
