Role Summary

This role focuses on post-go-live support, continuous improvement, and enhancement of SAP MM processes within a manufacturing setup. The consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders to stabilize operations, resolve issues, and implement functional improvements aligned with evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP MM processes: procurement, inventory, valuation, and invoice verification
  • Analyse and resolve issues related to material master, vendor master, PO creation, GR/IR discrepancies, and stock movements
  • Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure MM-PP integration is seamless
  • Design and implement enhancements (e.g., custom approval workflows, pricing logic, vendor evaluation reports)
  • Conduct root cause analysis and propose long-term fixes for recurring issues
  • Prepare functional specifications for RICEF objects and coordinate with ABAP developers
  • Support month-end activities: stock reconciliation, cost runs, and valuation updates
  • Train end-users and create SOPs for MM transactions and workflows
  • Monitor system performance and suggest optimizations for faster transaction processing

Required Skills - Technical

  • SAP MM configuration & troubleshooting
  • Integration with PP, SD, FICO, WM and QM
  • RICEF documentation & testing
  • LSMW, BDC, and debugging coordination

Required Skills - Functional Know-How

  • Manufacturing procurement workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or Supply Chain
  • 46 years of SAP MM experience, preferably in manufacturing domain
  • Hands-on experience in post-implementation support and enhancement cycles
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps is a plus
