JOB BRIEF POSITION: Legal and subsidies Sr. Executive REPORTING TO: Sr. Manager Legal Company Overview: Jabsons Food Pvt. Position Overview: The Legal and Subsidies Executive will play a critical role in ensuring the legal integrity of the organization's operations. This position involves drafting, reviewing, and approving legal documents while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of corporate law, excellent legal drafting skills, and the ability to provide effective legal counsel to various business functions. Experience: 4 to 6 Years Proven experience working in a Legal Department Education - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, LLB, or Masters in LLM from a reputed college. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Document Management: Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the company's interests.
• Compliance Monitoring: Stay informed of legislative changes relevant to the business and implement necessary updates to internal processes and training.
• Advisory Role: Serve as the first point of contact for business units seeking clarification on legal compliance, pre-contract due diligence, and other legal matters.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to inform decision-making and provide guidance on relevant legal issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless legal operations and effective communication of legal requirements. Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and procedures.
• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills, with proficiency in English and Gujarati (and other languages, written and spoken).
• Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
