Job Purpose: To lead, plan, and oversee all activities related to the design, fabrication, erection, and maintenance of steel structures for civil and industrial projects, ensuring quality, safety, cost-effectiveness, and timely execution.
--- Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the steel structure division (design, detailing, fabrication, and erection). Prepare and review structural designs, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. Coordinate with consultants, architects, and clients for design approvals. Supervise fabrication and erection activities to ensure compliance with standards. Monitor project progress, cost, and quality against project plans. Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for steel structure works. Handle vendor development, negotiation, and contract finalization. Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and contractors for efficient execution. Provide technical expertise for resolving design/site issues. Report regularly to management on project status, risks, and resource requirements.
--- Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of steel structure design, fabrication, and erection. Expertise in civil/structural codes and standards (IS, AISC, BS, Eurocode). Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Tekla, or equivalent software. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills. Project management and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling.
--- Qualifications & Experience: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering. Minimum 12–18 years of experience in steel structure design, fabrication, and project execution. Proven track record of handling large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure steel projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
