Role Description
- Checking of model and drawings using different standards, codes & contract documents.
- Listing out the model corrections found while checking by marking them on model comments sheet/ drawing check prints.
- Checking model & drawing at one stretch with expecting no additional comments on the sign off prints.
- Trying and reducing recurrence of mistakes, errors, thereby resulting in better quality of service and on time delivery.
- Helping to making a scheduling by using inbuilt tools in TEKLA/ SDS.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Structural and Mechanical Design
- Experience in checking and reviewing drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of industry standards and codes
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in SDS/2 and other relevant software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
- Experience in the steel industry is preferred
