Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled
ServiceNow Application Developer
with hands-on experience in
IT Asset Management (ITAM)
, including
Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
and
Software Asset Management (SAM)
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow ITAM modules while ensuring efficient asset lifecycle management and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage
    ServiceNow ITAM
    , including
    HAM
    and
    SAM
    modules.
  • Oversee the complete
    asset lifecycle
    — procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Configure and maintain
    asset models, stockrooms, consumables, contracts, and vendor records
    within ServiceNow.
  • Automate
    asset discovery and reconciliation
    through integrations with
    CMDB, Discovery, SCCM, JAMF, Intune
    , and other third-party tools.
  • Manage
    license compliance
    , software normalization, and
    reclamation processes
    within SAM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ITAM processes with business and IT objectives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting, and adherence to organizational policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    as a
    ServiceNow Application Developer
    , with a focus on
    ITAM (HAM/SAM)
    modules.
  • Strong understanding of
    CMDB relationships
    ,
    discovery integrations
    , and
    asset data management
    .
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining
    ServiceNow Asset Management
    workflows.
  • Familiarity with
    SCCM, JAMF, Intune
    , or similar inventory and asset management tools.
  • Good knowledge of
    ServiceNow scripting
    (JavaScript, Glide APIs) is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    or
    ITAM Certification
    .
  • Experience with ITIL processes and other ServiceNow modules (e.g., CMDB, ITSM).
