Sportz Village is a strategic partner for agencies like NSDC etc contributing to sports education reform across India. Their programs positively impact over 700,000 students across 500+ schools in 22 states, having reached more than 6 million children to date.
Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Chennai for a Regional Advocacy Manager, focusing on Chennai and Tamil Nadu. Responsibilities include developing and managing partnerships with schools, government bodies, and NGOs to promote sports programs, acting as a brand ambassador for Sportz Village, driving advocacy efforts, and executing public engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Advocacy, public relations, and stakeholder management skills to build and sustain relationships with schools, NGOs, and government agencies.
- Strategic planning and program management experience to oversee the smooth implementation of initiatives and ensure program objectives are met.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to represent the organization effectively in diverse environments.
- Proficiency in reporting, evaluating program impact, and using data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Knowledge of Tamil Nadu's education and policy landscape is highly desirable.
- Passionate about sports, child development, and education, with a commitment to creating a positive impact in the community.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Sports Management, Public Relations, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within Tamil Nadu to engage with stakeholders and support program implementation.
