The Project Manager is responsible for managing high-quality and timely delivery of all projects for their assigned clients as well as maintenance of up-to-date documentation on them. They are also responsible for identifying potential business opportunities within their clients. In addition, they also work on delivery of client projects in their domain within the overall realm of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues across EHS domains in India and the US to provide exceptional client service.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate with project leads and manage delivery of all contracted projects ensuring high quality deliverables and on-time delivery; address roadblocks, if any;
  • Ensure client and project documentation is up to date in internal repositories;
  • Stay updated on their clients through regular research and identify sales opportunities;
  • Participate in client meetings when needed and provide technical inputs to the BD and Strategic Client Management teams;
  • Manage and deliver client projects pertaining to EHS compliance as a hands-on consultant ensuring high quality and timeliness of deliverables; review the work of more junior colleagues and provide them guidance as needed;
  • Keep knowledgebase on relevant EHS regulations current; provide insights/training to the BD team, or other colleagues as and when required;
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve service quality, efficiency and productivity.

Educational qualifications and work experience

  • Bachelor's in Engineering and Master's in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science from a reputed institution
  • At least five years of experience in delivery of client projects in environmental consulting; knowledge/experience in US EHS regulations will be preferred
  • Proven track-record in managing multiple projects
