Role & responsibilities
This role represents Adler in front of the client and is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, project governance, client communication, and delivery excellence. The Project Manager will own the HR advisory scope for multiple clientsfrom planning, implementation, and HR hygiene checks to process setup and team coordination.
This is a strategic + operational role requiring someone who is presentable, confident, client-friendly, proactive, tech-enabled, and strong in HR fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship & Project Ownership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and represent Adler professionally.
- Conduct bi-monthly client meetings to drive scope, HR KPIs, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage project kickoff meetings, set expectations, and review the scope of work.
- Maintain excellent relationships with client stakeholders and ensure service satisfaction.
2. HR Operations Management
- Lead and oversee Onboarding & Exit Process implementation for client teams.
Monitor and streamline HR hygiene:
Documentation
- Record management
- Compliance readiness
HRMS data accuracy
Support in Payroll and Attendance governance at the client level.
- Assist in drafting and managing client HR policies, SOPs, and HR frameworks.
3. Performance Management & HR Systems
- Implement and maintain KRA/KPI frameworks, appraisal cycles, and review mechanisms.
- Support HRMS implementationSpine/other tools.
- Ensure HR systems, attendance logs, and employee data are updated accurately.
4. Project Architecture & Delivery
Create and manage project architecture on Asana, including:
Quarterly plans
- Weekly review dashboards
- HR process timelines
Task allocation to team
Conduct daily 15-minute check-ins with internal team members assigned to projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of every HR task within agreed SLAs.
5. People & Query Management
- Handle employee queries professionally and ensure timely closure.
- Maintain clarity and transparency with employees and client teams.
- Drive implementation of HR practices across departments.
6. Compliance Understanding
- Basic knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.
- Coordinate with payroll/compliance teams to ensure client compliance readiness.
7. Reporting & MIS
Prepare monthly HR reports for clients covering:
Manpower
- Attendance
- New joiners / exits
- HR KPIs
Engagement activities
Maintain and present dashboards to clients and management.
8. Travel & On-ground Coordination
- Travel to client offices within Ahmedabad for meetings, HR audits, onboarding, training, etc.
- Conduct on-ground HR support when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Graduate / Postgraduate
- MBA HR or MA Psychology preferred
Experience
- 2–7 years in HR Operations / HR Generalist / HRBP / HR Consulting
- Recruitment background acceptable if strong in HR fundamentals
Behavioural Skills
- Excellent communication (English & Hindi)
