About the Role
We are looking for a
FinOps Associate
to join our fast-growing team. This role is critical in managing our daily financial operations, including handling banking transactions, executing OTC trades, reconciling settlements, and supporting negotiations with counterparties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day
banking transactions
, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Execute and monitor
OTC trades
with partners and counterparties. - Perform
transaction reconciliations
across bank accounts, wallets, and internal systems. - Support
negotiations
with liquidity providers, banks, and counterparties to optimize terms. - Prepare and maintain accurate
records of settlements, cash flows, and trade confirmations
. - Liaise with external partners (banks, brokers, service providers) and internal teams (compliance, operations, finance).
- Assist in
process improvements
to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
. - 1–3 years of experience in
financial operations, treasury, or trading support
(preferably fintech, banking, or payments). - Strong understanding of
banking operations, settlements, and reconciliations
. - Familiarity with
OTC trading
and financial instruments is a plus. - Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets; experience with treasury systems is an advantage.
