Location: Mumbai, UP, HAryana, Delhi NCR, Punjab Sites.

Department: Projects / Site Execution

Reports To: Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and experienced Civil & Interiors Site Engineers to manage and supervise interior fit-out works for retail stores and restaurant projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil construction and carpentry activities, material estimation, worker coordination, billing support, client interaction, and the ability to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

Oversee day-to-day execution of civil finishing and interior fit-out works, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting Work, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, project quality standards, and safety regulations.

Supervise and manage workers, subcontractors, and trades (civil, carpentry, painting, tiling, false ceiling, flooring, etc.) to achieve project targets.

Conduct regular site inspections, ensure correct workmanship, and address deviations or deficiencies promptly.

Material & Estimation

Prepare and verify material take-offs, BOQs, and quantity estimations from drawings and site measurements for civil and interior items.

Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of materials and optimize stock levels, minimizing wastage.

Track material consumption against BOQ and report discrepancies for review.

Billing & Documentation

Assist in material measurement, billing preparation, and reconciliation with site work completed.

Prepare, verify, and support certifications of running bills (RA bills), vendor/subcontractor invoices, and final billing submissions to clients.

Maintain accurate site records, daily progress reports, MB sheets, and documentation for billing and compliance purposes.

Coordination & Client Interaction

Coordinate work sequences, deliveries, and quality expectations with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Attend client/site review meetings, resolve queries, and maintain professional communication to ensure client satisfaction.

Collaborate with design/construction teams to resolve technical issues or discrepancies between drawings and field conditions.

Safety & Quality Compliance

Enforce site safety protocols and ensure team adherence to health, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Implement quality control checks for materials and finishes as per project standards.

Pressure & Deadline Management

Manage schedules, prioritize critical path activities, and ensure timely project delivery under deadlines and pressure scenarios, coordinating resources and manpower effectively.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

6–10 years' experience in site execution, ideally in retail/restaurant interiors, fit-out, or commercial projects with exposure to civil and carpentry work.

Proven track record in material calculation, BOQ preparation, and billing support is a strong plus.

Knowledge of Xcel and Autocad is must.
