Job Summary

Location: Chennai

Job Overview:

As a Salesforce Platform Architect, you will lead the architecture and design of Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure the Salesforce platform is optimized for SD Worx business processes and growth. As a key player in the Architecture team, you will closely work together with the delivery tribes and design scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture:
  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions using industry best practices to meet complex business requirements.
  • Create, maintain and document the overall Salesforce platform architecture, ensuring it is aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Evaluate and select the appropriate Salesforce features, tools, and integrations in relation to Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Pardot, Experience Cloud, etc.
  • Ensure that Salesforce systems are scalable, flexible, and integrate seamlessly with other enterprise applications (SAP S4/H, Azure, ServiceNow, etc.)
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and other key stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Provide guidance to senior management on Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and opportunities for system improvements.
Integration & Data Management:
  • Design integration strategies to connect Salesforce with other internal and third-party systems (using APIs, middleware, etc.).
Platform Optimization & Maintenance:
  • Review and maintain existing Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular health checks to ensure Salesforce systems are optimized for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure proper security models are implemented, including user profiles, permissions, and role-based access controls.
Innovation & Best Practices:
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforces new features, products, and best practices.
  • Continuously improve and innovate on existing Salesforce architecture to leverage new capabilities and reduce technical debt.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement in the development and deployment process of Salesforce solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience:
  • 5 years of experience with Salesforce, including extensive experience in Salesforce development, administration, and architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale Salesforce solutions in a complex multinational environment.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Cloud offerings (Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and integration tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce integration strategies and methodologies.
Certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (preferred)
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model and security model.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive solutions through ambiguity.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
