Role: Security Lead

Location: Upper Thane, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforcement of rules and policies To define the rules and policies for the management and operations of the project safety and security and ensure enforcement of such rules and policies.
  • Appointment and supervision of officers or employees To appoint all subordinate officers and employees, all appointments to be made on merit and fitness alone to supervise and control the work of the divisions created.
  • Monitoring To monitor the security across the project as well as ensure safe environment To setup procedures and guidelines for on field teams.
  • Personnel development Train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel provide or coordinate staff training work with employees to correct deficiencies implement discipline and termination procedures.
  • Disaster management To develop and implement disaster management plans within the city, including management of on field disaster management teams To prepare citizens/ residents for all necessary actions during implementation of such disaster management plans should cover both natural and man made disasters.
  • Provides instruction on safety and environmental requirements to include methods for

minimizing injuries and property damage and techniques for identifying and correcting safety hazards Enforces compliance with requirements for personal protective equipment and established safety mandates.

  • Traffic safety To design and implement policies and rules for traffic safety, speed limits, accident free and special care for pedestrian movement around the project.
  • Emergency To alert and initiate emergency response as and when required To prepare the field teams and residents/ citizens for all necessary actions during emergency response To oversee the on ground emergency response teams.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for fire safety, lifts safety, safety in public places such as malls, roads/walkways, public parks etc access control in public places, parking management, petty dispute resolution etc ..(non exhaustive).
  • Budget To manage and coordinate the development of the department budget.
  • Additional duties To perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the scope of duties of the project.
