Your job

As a Manager of Security Testing APAC in IT Risk and Security youll:

  • Versee secure code scans on applications leveraging industry standards and frameworks (OWASP, CSF, etc.). This includes the entire scanning lifecycle from application onboarding to assigning remediation work tied to findings.
  • Continuously tune and adjust the scanning processes to minimize false positives and facilitate the rapid remediation of findings by development and application teams
  • Collaborate with external testing firms to deliver and augment secure code scanning services for Group Technology
  • Manage Group Technologys scanning/testing schedule including resource planning along with the Head of Vulnerability Management & Security Testing
  • Take responsibility for managing licensing of the secure code scanning tool suite
  • Influence technical colleagues and non-technical business partners when:
  • Sharing test results/ outcomes
  • Reporting on information security controls and cyber security measure execution
  • Delivering metrics and measurements on scan execution and findings
  • Own and continually rejuvenate our secure code scanning methodology and processes
  • Seek and then own innovative tools, applications and services to augment and automate secure code testing and reporting whenever possible
  • Coach team members continuously and strengthen our talent pipeline by mentoring junior staff and co-ops and interns
  • Collaborate with partners across Risk and Security (Penetration Testing teams, Information technology Security Officers, Security Architects, etc.) and the company (project teams, development teams, application teams, Groups Integrated Risk Management, Group's Audit Services).
  • Be responsible for budget and billing associated with testing along with the Head of Vulnerability Management and Security Testing.

Your profile

As a Manager of Security Testing APAC, you'll have:

  • Six or more years of professional experience in application development
  • Five or more years of information/cyber security experience
  • Four or more years leading teams with demonstrable coaching and mentoring capabilities
  • Confidence when engaging executives and senior business stakeholders

  • Calmness and clarity of thought under pressure

  • Proven experience in successfully conducting penetration testing demonstrating knowledge

  • application development and programming

  • networking/cloud computing
  • IT/Cyber Security principles and practices

  • audit and control frameworks

  • Expertise in information security, testing methodologies, report/finding writing

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality
  • The adeptness to prioritize and handle competing demands when scheduling
  • High motivation focused on personal development and continuous learning
  • Excellent command of English featuring strong written communication skills

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • One or more certifications in information security (CISSP, GSEC, etc.)
  • Financial services industry and/or international experience
  • Ease with budgeting and financial reporting
