We are currently looking for Ansible Engineer – Cyber/Tooling Modules/Senior Consultant Specialist
Department- CTO Distributed Compute
In this role, you will:
- Responsible for coding and maintaining Ansible code of Tooling modules/packages
- Manage and support Configuration management and enforcement of tooling in a large Ansible managed Linux estate
- Provide consultation on/assist customer code development
- Support Code promotions and perform Code reviews
- Provide L3 support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents
- Support new and existing Ansible tooling modules development, deployment and configuration
Qualifications - External
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Highly experienced in Automation technologies and their use in Server configuration – Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform
- Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable (eg Puppet)
- Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable
- Experience in development/support Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and DEPL controls
