We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

In this role, you will:

· Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform focussed on supporting Tooling deployment 

· Manage and support Configuration management and enforcement in a large Ansible managed Linux estate 

· Support Code promotions and perform Code reviews 

· Provide L3 support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents 

· Consultation on customer code development 

· Support new OS versions development, deployment and configuration  

· Support deployment and configuration of new, and upgrades to existing estate management tools   

Qualifications - External

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

· Highly experienced in Automation technologies – Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform 

· Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable 

· Experience of Package management – creating and understanding rpms 

· Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable 

· Experience in development/support Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines   

· Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
