Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight:Manage and coordinate all phases of HVAC projects, from conception and planning to execution, monitoring progress, and final delivery.
  • Budget & Cost Control:Develop and manage project budgets, control costs, track expenses, and ensure projects remain within financial projections.
  • Scheduling & Logistics:Create and manage project timelines, coordinate equipment and material procurement, and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
  • Team Leadership:Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, including technicians and subcontractors, setting clear performance expectations and providing training.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations:Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise:Provide technical guidance on HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to specifications and codes.
  • Safety & Compliance:Ensure all project activities comply with safety regulations, industry best practices, and relevant codes.
  • Business Development (SBU Focus):Identify and develop new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to the SBU's revenue growth objectives.
  • Risk Management:Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
  • Reporting & Documentation:Prepare detailed project reports, milestone tracking, and handover documentation to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of HVAC systems, schematics, and installation processes.
  • Project Management Skills:Proficiency in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Leadership & Communication:Excellent ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen:A consultative sales approach, ability to understand customer needs, and drive business growth for the SBU.
  • Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical and logistical challenges.
  • Education:A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is beneficial, though extensive HVAC installation experience is often equally valued.
