Product Owner II

Candidates meet the following 5 criteria only apply :

1) Must have 5 years of experience in the US Healthcare Domain

2) Revenue Cycle Management : Deep knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including claims processing, billing, and payment workflows.

3) EDI : Expertise in EDI standards (e.g., X12, HL7) used for healthcare data exchange between providers, payers, and other entities.

4) Clearinghouse Operations : Practical experience with clearinghouse functions, such as claims validation, routing, and format translation across systems.

5) Healthcare Data Exchange : Proficiency in managing complex healthcare data exchange, ensuring accuracy and handling high transaction volumes.

Product Management Mastery :

- Product Vision and Strategy : Ability to define a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs.

- Roadmap Planning and Prioritization : Skill in developing and managing product roadmaps, prioritizing features to balance short-term and long-term goals.

- Product Lifecycle Management : Experience overseeing the full product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing improvement.

- Backlog Ownership : Competence in defining, prioritizing, and refining the product backlog to maximize value delivery.

3. Agile Methodologies :

- Scrum Mastery : Strong understanding of Scrum principles, with the ability to lead agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).

We are seeking a Product Owner to function as the bridge between the Product Manager and the delivery team by aligning both parties to the common goals and big picture of the enterprise and business. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Product, you will be working closely with Product

Managers coordinating with them on the scoping and priority issues on a regular basis.

What you will be doing :

- Leading storyboarding : developing and prioritizing stories based on the understanding of the overall business benefit and the relative cost of each piece of work while clearly defining the acceptance criteria for each of the stories.

- Acting as the voice of the customer while keeping the big picture in mind (preventing customers and users from getting into unnecessary short-term product development trade-offs.

- Managing and grooming the backlog to add, delete or modify user stories on a regular basis ensuring the customer team is properly prepared for kick-off.

- Actively participating in release planning, ensuring that the scope of monthly release demos remains realistic with respect to the capacity of the team.

- Monitoring progress and minimizing scope changes mid-stream.

- Ensuring usability testing is done on a regular basis and feedback incorporated is in alignment with the charter.

- Prioritizing log defects, forming the acceptance criteria and developing test cases.

- Participating in acceptance testing for every release and confirming the developed product is acceptable to the end user.

- Keeping the product charter update, ensuring the customer team agrees on priorities and acceptance while communicating the impact of changes, aligning the whole team around it.

- Verifying that the customer deliverables of wireframes, design and acceptance tests are consistent and agreed upon.

Requirements :

years of experience in US Healthcare (RCM, Clearinghouse, EMR/EHR systems, Claims, Patient Access, etc.)

years of progressive work experience in a product role; designing business processes, process mapping, working on process improvement initiatives and business system design.

- A demonstrated mastery of using flowcharting tools.

- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs to translate them into application and operation requirements.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience building product in an agile environment.
