Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Formulate and execute financial strategies in line with company objectives
  • Prepare yearly budgets, multi-year plan, financial forecasts, dashboards, and

variance analysis

  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and business

case evaluation

Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee accounting operations and ensure timely closure of books
  • Present monthly and annual financial results to the management team
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), working capital cycles, and

profitability

  • Responsible for stock ageing, slow mover analysis, AR ageing & provisioning
  • Knowledge of Trade finance activities related to LC, BG, Bonds, etc

Treasury & Working Capital Management:

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and trade finance instruments (LCs,

BGs)

  • Ensure compliance to group treasury policies and forex exposure
  • Ensure timely collections and optimize receivables, payables, and inventory
  • Responsible for credit management & credit insurance

Cost Control & Margin Management:

  • Conduct cost and margin analysis across product lines and customer segments
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements

Compliance, Taxation & Audits:

  • Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, etc
  • Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits
  • Handle corporate filings and liaison with legal advisors when needed
  • Responsible for managing super key control

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial, operational, and administrative risks and implement

mitigation strategies

  • Ensure proper insurance coverage for assets, people, and operations

Team Leadership:

  • Lead finance, accounts, compliance and IT teams
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and performance

Desired Profile:

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, or MBA (Finance)
  • Experience: 1218 years in finance, taxation with at least 5 years in a

leadership role. Experience in steel or trading industry preferred.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of B2B steel trading, product

leasing service, commodity pricing, credit risk, and logistics

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Expertise in financial reporting, ERP tools (Tally/SAP/Navision)
