Technical /Specification Manager - Construction Chemicals

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Technical Manager to lead technical support, application guidance, and training initiatives for our construction chemical products in Ahmedabad and Surat. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in product applications such as waterproofing, concrete repair, flooring, sealants, and admixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support for product application, trials, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct technical training for internal sales teams, applicators, and clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance.
  • Assist consultants, architects, and contractors with product selection and specification.
  • Lead product demonstrations, mock-ups, and performance testing.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including method statements, data sheets, and specifications.
  • Manage field trials and performance validation of new products.
  • Support product development by sharing feedback and market insights with the R&D team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines during site visits and application.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical service or application engineering within construction chemicals.
  • In-depth knowledge of waterproofing systems, admixtures, repair materials, and protective coatings.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Surat & nearby regions).
  • Familiarity with BIS, ASTM, EN, and other relevant standards.
