Overview

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher to nurture young learners in their foundational years. The role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where children develop early literacy, numeracy, motor, and social skills through play-based and activity-based learning.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

Classroom Teaching & Learning

Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities.

Use play-way and activity-based methodologies to develop literacy, numeracy, and general awareness.

Encourage creativity through art, music, rhymes, storytelling, and role play.

Child Development & Care

Support children's emotional, physical, and social development.

Identify and support individual learning needs and developmental milestones.

Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of all children in the classroom.

Classroom Management

Maintain a warm, positive, and structured classroom environment.

Establish routines and discipline through gentle guidance.

Foster cooperation, sharing, and respect among students.

Parent & School Communication

Communicate regularly with parents on children's progress, achievements, and areas of improvement.

Organize parent-teacher meetings and participate in school events.

Share progress reports and maintain student records.

Collaboration & Professional Growth

Work closely with colleagues, coordinators, and school management to implement curriculum.

Participate in workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs.

Contribute to school cultural events, celebrations, and activities.

Skills Description

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Certification in Early Childhood Education or Montessori training preferred.

Prior experience (2–3 years) as a Pre-Primary or Kindergarten teacher.

Strong communication skills in English.

Creativity, patience, empathy, and ability to engage with young children.
