Role Overview

As a
VP/SVP – Private Wealth
, you will play a
strategic leadership role
in driving the growth of our wealth management business. You'll be responsible for
expanding AUM, leading teams, building elite client relationships
, and positioning SMC as a top player in private wealth management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth:
    Define and execute strategies to expand the Private Wealth business and increase AUM.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead, mentor, and inspire multiple teams of Wealth Managers and Team Leaders.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention:
    Build and nurture relationships with HNI, UHNI, and institutional clients.
  • Product Advisory:
    Deliver comprehensive wealth solutions —
    PMS, AIFs, Structured Products, Mutual Funds, and Estate Planning
    .
  • P&L Ownership:
    Drive profitability and ensure efficient business operations.
  • Brand & Market Positioning:
    Represent SMC at industry forums and events to enhance our leadership in the wealth management space.
  • Compliance:
    Uphold the highest standards of
    regulatory and ethical governance
    .


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 12–18 years of proven experience in
    Wealth Management or Private Banking
    .
  • Strong track record of
    managing large AUMs and leading teams
    at a regional or national level.
  • Deep
    network with HNI, UHNI, and family office clients
    .
  • Exceptional
    strategic, advisory, and leadership skills
    with strong business acumen and client presence.
