Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Tableau reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business

requirements.

  • Convert existing Hadoop supported sql in Tableau dashboards/data sources into Databricks

supported sql.

-Work experience on  Databricks and Hadoop is an advantage.

-Experience on Tableau prep

-Hands-on experience on Tableau metadata, knowledge on GraphQl and Tableau Rest APIs

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into

Tableau solutions.

  • Perform data analysis and data modeling to identify and extract relevant data from multiple

sources.

  • Optimize Tableau performance by fine-tuning data queries, aggregations, and calculations.

  • Create and manage Tableau metadata, including data sources, connections, and security

settings.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau reports, data sources, and performance.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, functionalities, and best practices.

  • Train end-users on how to effectively use Tableau for data analysis and reporting.

  • Collaborate with other team members, such as data engineers and business analysts, to

ensure data integrity and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer with hands-on experience in SQL and Tableau

metadata.

  • In-depth knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.

  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience in writing complex SQL queries.

  • Proficiency in data modeling, data analysis, and data visualization best practices.

  • Familiarity with database concepts and experience working with different database systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with

stakeholders.

  • Tableau certification(s) is a plus.
