Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure exclusively on Google Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, managing source control with Git, and driving continuous integration and deployment pipelines. This role requires deep expertise in GCP services and DevOps best practicesno experience with AWS or Azure is required or expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable infrastructure on GCP using Terraform.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GCP-native tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Artifact
  • Manage Git repositories and enforce branching strategies and code reviews.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.
  • Automate operational tasks and ensure high availability of cloud services.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application delivery.
  • Required Skills:
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, etc.
  • Terraform: Writing and maintaining reusable modules, state management, remote backends.
  • Git: Branching strategies, pull requests, GitOps workflows.
  • DevOps Tools: Cloud Build, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Monitoring (Stackdriver).
  • Scripting: Bash, Python, or similar for automation tasks.
  • Security & Compliance: IAM policies, service accounts, secrets management.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with GCP networking and hybrid cloud setups.
  • Familiarity with GCP cost optimization and billing reports.
  • Exposure to SRE practices and incident response automation.
