Join us in helping leading organizations manage and optimize their cloud infrastructure to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing operations.Your RoleAs an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and maintenance of GCP infrastructure and applications. You’ll handle routine operations, incident response, and system optimization to ensure reliability and performance.In this role, you will:Administer Linux and Windows systems in cloud environmentsMonitor cloud infrastructure and respond to incidentsExecute backup and disaster recovery operationsOptimize system performance and apply security patchesAutomate deployments and manage rollback proceduresAnalyze logs and configure alerts for proactive monitoringManage GCP resources including compute, storage, networking, and IAMUse Cloud Console and gcloud CLI for operational tasksTrack resource usage and optimize cloud costsMaintain service health and troubleshoot GCP servicesDocument operational procedures and maintain runbooksCommunicate incident status and updates clearlyPrioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyInteract professionally with internal customersStay reliable for on-call and operational responsibilitiesApply basic Infrastructure as Code conceptsYour Profile3+ years in cloud operations, system administration, or infrastructure managementPreferred: 5+ years in enterprise cloud environmentsExperience in 24/7 operations and incident responseProficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Familiarity with configuration management and monitoring toolsHands-on experience with GCP services including GCE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, and Cloud MonitoringStrong troubleshooting and performance optimization skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldCertifications preferred: Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer, Linux+ or equivalentClear communication and documentation skillsWillingness to learn new technologies and collaborate across teamsWhat You’ll Love About Working HereWe value flexibility and support our employees with remote work options and adaptable schedules to maintain a healthy work-life balance.Our inclusive culture brings together diverse professionals committed to growth, innovation, and excellence.You’ll have access to continuous learning opportunities and certifications in emerging technologies like cloud and AI.About UsAt Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential.
