Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Fiori, etc.)
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP systems and databases.
  • Manage SAP transport management system (TMS) and coordinate changes between environments.
  • Plan and execute SAP kernel upgrades, support packages, and enhancement packs.
  • Perform system copies, migrations, backups, restores, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Coordinate with functional and development teams for system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Administer SAP user roles and authorizations in cooperation with Security/GRC team.
  • Support database administration tasks in collaboration with DBAs (HANA, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.)
  • Maintain SAP system documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and audit requirements.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation and provide timely resolution of high-priority issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration (for mid-level); 7+ for senior roles.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, HANA DB, and traditional SAP NetWeaver systems.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, UNIX).
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience in SAP migrations, upgrades, and installations.
  • Good understanding of SAP security concepts and change management procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BASIS / SAP HANA Administration.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Experience with DevOps tools and automation (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., SOX, FDA, ISO 27001 compliance).
