Job Description – Marine Process Specialist

We are seeking a
Shipping Logistics Documentation Specialist
with strong expertise in marine processes and shipping operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
marine claims processing
,
contract evaluation
,
import/export documentation
, and coordination with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle
    Marine Claims Management & Processing
    (Demurrage, Cargo, Shipping, Marine Insurance).
  • Review and analyze
    contracts, documents, and events
    to prepare accurate claim calculations.
  • Actively follow up with
    third parties
    and issue invoices for receivable claims.
  • Escalate critical issues to supervisors and business partners when required.
  • Develop, monitor, and review
    control reports
    to ensure timely submission of receivable claims.
  • Respond to claim-related queries from
    customers, affiliates, and management
    .
  • Manage aged claims and follow through until full closure.
  • Track
    overdue or outstanding invoices
    and coordinate follow-ups.
  • Identify and highlight
    process improvement opportunities
    and potential contract issues.
