Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Assistant Purchasing Manager. The role involves assisting in procurement operations, managing supplier relationships, evaluating vendor performance, and ensuring timely acquisition of materials to meet production demands. It also includes inventory management, cost analysis, and coordination with internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels while adhering to quality and cost efficiency standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in procurement, vendor sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong skills in inventory management, cost analysis, and negotiation.
  • Knowledge of material and resource planning processes and tools.
  • Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in purchasing or procurement roles is an advantage.
