Position: Senior Coordinator

Location: BDW International School, Shillong

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic leadership for middle and senior school.
  • Oversee curriculum planning, execution, and continuous academic improvement.
  • Monitor teacher performance, guide lesson planning, and ensure high-quality classroom delivery.
  • Conduct regular academic audits, classroom observations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate assessments, examinations, and academic reporting.
  • Support student performance analysis and implement improvement strategies.
  • Lead teacher training, professional development, and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between management, teachers, students, and parents.
  • Ensure adherence to CBSE norms, policies, and documentation requirements.
  • Assist in school events, academic planning, timetabling, and daily operations.
  • Contribute to school growth, discipline, and overall institutional excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + B.Ed (Mandatory).
  • Master's degree in Education/Science/English or related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Coordinator / Academic Lead in a CBSE school.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
  • Sound understanding of CBSE curriculum, teaching-learning processes, and academic compliance.
  • Ability to mentor teachers, handle parent interactions, and manage day-to-day academic operations.
