Job Details

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering activities for electrical as well as related instrumentation such as preparation of BOMs, electrical drags, etc. for Industry products
  • Provide technical support to Operations by resolving electrical & instrumentation related problems in workshop, quality, test field & at customer site
  • Prepare complete design output including wiring diagrams, P& ID, logic diagrams, BOM, DCS I/O lists for customer approval / information / reference
  • Prepare complete technical specification for bought out items such as electric motors, instruments like pressure, DP, temp, Level transmitters/switches, temperature elements, speed measuring equipment and electromechanical actuators/electropneumatic positioners, instrumentation & control cables, junction boxes & other electrical accessories
  • Assist technical evaluation of vendors offer for above mentioned items
  • Support in New product development and localization activities
  • Upkeep of supplier catalogues for instruments, electrical equipment, cables, etc.
  • Maintain complete documentation of each order and including data backup
  • Lead Engineering activities with respect to electrical & instrumentation for product localization
Education
  • M.E. / M. Tech in power electronics
  • Experience in using EPLAN for wiring diagrams and SAP for BOM preparation is desirable
Experience
  • 5-10 years relevant experience in E&I function
Skills
  • Basic electrical system design (Safe as well as hazardous area), component selection, specification review, DCS/PLC, process instruments
  • Working knowledge and experience in electrical CAD/ERP tools
  • Knowledge & experience in electrical motor design for oil & gas installations
  • Design & application experience in power electronics
