Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Engineer located in Mumbai. The Purchasing Engineer will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, creating and processing purchase orders, planning and managing purchase activities, and analyzing purchasing data to inform decision-making. Daily tasks will involve collaborating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining inventory levels to meet production demands.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning
  • Experience in creating and managing Purchase Orders
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools is advantageous
