Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and sub-systems for high/low-speed rotating equipment used in Defence and other applications.
  • Generate innovative design concepts and create detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
  • Perform structural and kinematic calculations and support FEA analysis for components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, systems) to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation including design reports, test plans, and compliance documents.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality protocols.
  • Interact with customers and suppliers to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify and implement projects for cost reduction, capacity improvement, and safety enhancement.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Education: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Marine/Automobile Engineering (M.Tech from IIT/NIT preferred).
  • Experience: 48 years in mechanical design.

  • Skills:

  • Strong fundamentals in mechanics and thermal design.

  • Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX).

  • Basic exposure to FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus).

  • Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
