Validation Engineer Leader

Job Title : Validation Engineer Leader (V&V)Department : Verification & Validation (V&V)Key Responsibilities : System and Software Knowledge :

• Manage systems and software requirements in Sys4, Sys5, and SWE.6.
• Oversee the entire right side of the V cycle, including tools like VT STUDIO, CANoe, UDS, and CAPL.Team Leadership :
• Lead and manage a team of 8-10 people across 2-3 projects.
• Encourage CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices within the team.

Client Management :

• Maintain customer relationships through regular meetings and reports.
• Handle project and risk management tasks efficiently.

Project Planning and Tracking :

• Define, plan, and track progress toward project goals.
• Prepare technical responses for Requests for Quotation.
• Estimate the validation and testing effort for software projects.

Technical Expertise :

• Expert in HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and ECU (Electronic Control Unit) testing.
• Skilled in solving technical problems.
• Experienced with Field Bus : CAN, LIN, and UDS.
• Proficient in using Vector tools like CANoe, CANdela, CANDiva, CAPL, VT Studio, and conducting conformance tests for LIN and CAN.
• Practical knowledge in programming languages (C, C ), and electronics (digital and analog).

ASPICE and Lifecycle Knowledge :

• Hands-on experience with ASPICE processes and iterative & incremental life cycles.
• Knowledgeable in software configuration, change management, and quality assurance.

Software Development :

• Proficient in building software requirements specifications and architecture.
• Experience in developing software for delivery.
• Familiar with concepts of modular and object-oriented design, embedded software, RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems), and development environments (emulator, cross compiler).

Automotive Industry Background :

• Strong communication skills.
• Background in the automotive industry.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science).
• Extensive experience in validation engineering, team management, and project planning.
• Proven expertise in using Vector tools, programming languages, and electronics.
• Familiarity with ASPICE, CI/CD, and the entire V cycle process.
