Assistant Engineering Manager Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Engineering Manager Cloud Architect to lead and drive our development team, architect scalable cloud infrastructure and oversee the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with hands-on expertise in full stack development, team management and cloud-native architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Development:

  • Design and develop modern, scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend technologies such as , Python, Java or .NET.
  • Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, integrate with third-party services and ensure application security.
  • Optimize application performance and responsiveness across web and mobile platforms.
  • Drive DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automated testing and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Cloud Architecture:

  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Design and implement microservices, serverless functions and containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring and performance tuning of cloud environments.
  • Oversee cloud cost optimization, governance and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in full stack development using modern frontend and backend frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and architecture best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
  • Experience in database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with SaaS, multi-tenant architecture, or large-scale distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA).
