Salesforce Quality Assurance Tester

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Tester to join our team remotely.

The ideal candidate will specialize in testing Salesforce applications, focusing on functional, integration, and automation testing within the Retail Industry environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality Salesforce implementations, validating customizations, automations, and integrations while working closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts specific to Salesforce solutions.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, etc.

- Validate Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and configuration changes.

- Perform API testing of Salesforce integrations using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.

- Ensure proper test coverage of Salesforce customizations, workflows, approval processes, and data model configurations.

- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or other bug-tracking tools.

- Execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Salesforce-specific automation tools.

- Conduct performance testing (where applicable) using tools such as JMeter.

- Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.

- Participate in Agile (SCRUM) ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.

- Maintain clear and detailed test documentation and reports.

- Mentor junior testers and contribute to improving the QA process.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 9 years of experience in Salesforce Testing with hands-on exposure to Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud).

- Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Salesforce Flows.

- Experience in Manual and Automated Testing of Salesforce applications.

- Expertise in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.

- Good understanding of Salesforce Data Model, Security Model, and Sharing Rules.

- Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, JMeter.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).

- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Salesforce Administrator or Developer Certification (plus for deeper understanding of Salesforce platform).

- Experience in CI/CD environments (Salesforce DX, Jenkins).

- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Community Cloud testing.

- Experience in test automation frameworks.
