Job Purpose:
Senior Executive - Design is responsible for executing key design tasks and managing team efforts to ensure the successful completion of design components. This role involves supporting senior architects by creating detailed architectural designs, conducting site analyses, and coordinating with stakeholders. It enables professionals to apply their technical skills and contribute to the effective and timely completion of design projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Functional Competencies:

• Overall years of experience shall be minimum 12 years; minimum 8 recent years in Airports & rest in large scale infrastructure projects
• Experience in design management of ancillary buildings of large-scale infrastructure projects for Airports is preferred
• Greenfield project development experience is a must to have
• Innovation design thinking & practice featuring sustainability & technology advancements in modern aviation is preferred
• Capable of managing the design of a Project independently
• Capable of materializing look & feel of all architectural & interior finishes
• Experience in handling the stakeholders is preferred
• Design reflections on Operational efficiency, Security-tight, Maintenance friendly, etc.
• Adaptation to Adani's growing Airport's business portfolio & its dynamics
• LEED AP- Sustainability, and or climate adaptation experience preferred
• Conversant with applicable local and international statutory norms, regulations, etc.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills
• Should be familiar with application of design software's like AutoCAD, Revit etc.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for design leadership, design delivery & quality of assigned projects
• Design management of projects from ideation till as-built stages
• Ensure all works are carried out as per the currently prevalent Codes and Standards
• Provide design/technical leadership to resolve all outstanding design issues
• Lead role on assigned projects in obtaining internal stakeholder approvals, as necessary
• Lead role on assigned projects in obtaining approvals from statutory organizations in coordination with consultants as deemed necessary
• Ensure design submitted by consultant(s) meets all requirements. (Drawings, Specifications and BOQ)

• Lead and ensure that design meets functional and aesthetic requirements
• Prepare presentations, renders, and reports etc. of the assigned projects for management review.
• Review & Comment on consultant's documents and drawings in coordination with Engineering team & design specifications
• Coordinate design activities / deliverables with architects, engineers, sub-consultants, stakeholders, agencies, tenants, etc., relative to facility design and systems
• Build and sustain stakeholder relationships, act as the primary design interface with team members, and a wide range of consultants and collaborators, both internal and external
• Develop and detail the Look & feel of all High-end Architectural & Interior finishes
• Liaise with various stakeholders on all interfacing projects & Design related issues
• Review aspects of the design that are yet unresolved or that are revisited due to change
• Periodical visit to the site(s) to ensure works are in line with approved design documents
• Review and Approve samples, mockups, prototypes & benchmarks to ensure quality and perform quality review and meetings on-site in collaboration with the Central Team
• Monitor the design program & reinforce the culture of an integrated team
• Support other departments like Procurement and Contracts, Legal etc. in all Project related matters
• Conduct regular meetings with consultants to ensure project is delivered on time and within the cost, meeting all expected standards.

Qualifications
Education Qualification:
A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field is required.

Work Experience
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in architectural design, preferably with exposure to city-side or large-scale development projects.
