Job Summary:

The role involves preparing precise P-line drawings, generating area statement, extracting

quantities that feed directly into cost plans, budgets, and value engineering exercises.

Key Responsibilities: (Please mention the top 5)

1. Prepare accurate P-line drawings and technical drafts for projects.

2. Conduct detailed area calculations to validate design data and layouts ensuring

compliance with norms.

3. Extract BOQ quantities and review tender BOQs with the cost manager.

4. Provide accurate input for estimates, cost plans, and budgeting exercises.

5. Maintain organized records, version control, and digital documentation for design &

cost documents.

Key Skills Required :

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office; basic Revit knowledge.

2. Strong understanding of building drawings, detailing, and construction practices.

3. Knowledge of IS codes for area calculations and cost-related drawing outputs.

4. Quick learner, team player, proactive, and dependable with strong time

management.

5. Exposure to residential, commercial, MHADA, SRA, Plotted, SEZ, and redevelopment

projects

Desired Work Experience and Qualification:

1. Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Architectural Draftsmanship.

2. 10–15 years of experience in drafting, preferably in construction/real estate with

exposure to costing function.
