Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst Applications (SAP BASIS Administration) to join our Deployment APD -CAT IT Division, Bangalore Team.

The incumbent is accountable for ensuring SAP applications (both on premise and cloud based) are installed and functioning as per requirements. Responsibilities includes installing and configuring technical components. Basis collaborates with Functional, Middleware, Development, and Security teams to ensure secure and stable Performance monitoring, system upgrades, code migration, and integrations are included in the services provided.

The preference for this role is to be based out of PSN Whitefield office, Bangalore

• Environment design, capacity forecast, and implementation of Infrastructure/Storage/Database components
• Software configuration, implementation
• Performance monitoring and tuning
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery Services
• Maintain backup and recovery strategies and processes
• Print Management
• Environment and Transport Management
• Level 4 Troubleshooting
• Hana Database administration
• Maintain and Adhering to Information Technology and SOX controls and processes
• Shift Timing- 01:00PM -10:00PM IST

What you will have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related work experience
• 6 plus years Basis admin experience
• Broad knowledge in Linux and shell scripting
• Strong Command of SQL and SAP Basis Admin Tools (Hana Cockpit, Hana Studio, Solution Manager, Landscape Management (LaMa), etc.)

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Hana DBA Certification
• Basis Administration Certification
• Experience with SAP on Hyperscalers
• Strong networking and business acumen skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Creates and evaluates technical alternatives for complex applications.
• Interprets application services such as API; integrates them with technical design.

Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
