Job Title: Interior Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Interior Site Supervisor oversees the day-to-day activities of interior construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Management:

  2. Supervise and coordinate interior trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and finishing.

  3. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.

  4. Implement and enforce site rules, regulations, and safety protocols.

  5. Team Management:

  6. Lead and direct site staff, subcontractors, and laborers.

  7. Provide guidance, training, and feedback to ensure skill development.

  8. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

  9. Quality Control:

  10. Ensure compliance with project specifications, plans, and quality standards.

  11. Identify and resolve defects, deficiencies, or non-conformities.

  12. Conduct regular quality inspections and report findings.

  13. Safety and Risk Management:

  14. Implement and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.

  15. Conduct safety orientations, training, and toolbox talks.

  16. Investigate incidents, near misses, and report to management.

  17. Communication and Coordination:

  18. Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.

  19. Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and inventory management.

  20. Provide progress updates, reports, and documentation.

  21. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

  22. Resolve site conflicts, disputes, or issues promptly.

  23. Address technical challenges, defects, or design inconsistencies.

  24. Collaborate with project team to find solutions.

  25. Administrative Tasks:

  26. Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation.

  27. Track and report labor hours, productivity, and costs.

  28. Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in interior construction supervision.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
