Role Summary:

The 
Site Supervisor
 will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of site activities, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety norms. The role involves coordination with contractors, labourers, vendors, and project engineers to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution

  • Supervise all on-site construction activities, including civil, finishing, plumbing, electrical, and allied works.
  • Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor daily progress of work and ensure adherence to the project schedule.
  • Allocate tasks to labourers and subcontractors, ensuring optimum utilization of manpower and materials.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to resolve any technical or on-site issues.

Quality & Safety

  • Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Report defects, deficiencies, or non-compliance issues to higher management promptly.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure workers follow all safety guidelines at the site.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) usage by all staff.

Material & Resource Management

  • Track material consumption and maintain proper records of material receipts and usage.
  • Raise material requests as per site requirements and coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery.
  • Prevent wastage and ensure proper storage and handling of materials on site.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily site reports including work progress, labor attendance, and material status.
  • Coordinate with the planning team for daily and weekly progress updates.
  • Assist in preparing snag lists and ensure timely completion of finishing and rectification works.
  • Liaise with vendors, consultants, and contractors for smooth coordination.

Candidate Profile:

Education

  • Diploma / ITI / (Civil).

Experience

  • 3–7 years of experience in real estate or construction site supervision (residential / commercial projects).

Skills :

  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQ, and work procedures.
  • Knowledge of finishing works (plastering, tiling, painting, interiors, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with site safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to handle labour and subcontractor coordination independently.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, Email) preferred.
