Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution as per specifications.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Site Management
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations and resolve technical/site issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
  • Cost & Resource Management
  • Control project costs and ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery.
  • Review and approve contractor/vendor bills and claims.
  • Manage procurement in coordination with the purchase team.
  • Team & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and senior management.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (drawings, permits, reports, contracts).
  • Handle contractual matters, risk assessments, and variation claims.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering, construction methods, and project management.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Experience: 8–15 years in civil construction, with at least 3–5 years in a Project Manager / Construction Manager role.
  • Experience in high-rise buildings, residential or commercial buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects (as per company's domain).
