Position - Sr. Exe/Exe Sustainability Engineer

Location - Nagpur

Work Experience and Education:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Should have relevant experience, preferably in sustainability/ESG data management, audit or reporting in a corporate setting, sustainability consulting or sustainability NGOs.

• Should have demonstrated experience in providing data analytics and data quality verification and management and knowledge of data analytics and reporting software.

• Should have 3-4 years of experience in ESG .

Education BE / B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental Science) or MSC with additional qualification in Environmental Science / Renewable Engineering or ESG or Graduate / Post graduate with relevant experience in ESG Work experience: candidate with requisite qualification and working either in manufacturing set-up (preferable) or ESG reporting in consulting

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• should have experience in or worked on the sustainability standards like CDP, SBTi, TCFD, SDG, GHG protocols etc. Should be aware of CSR reporting standards and document preparation for CSRD.

• Will be responsible for leading and implementing the companys Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives.
• To create the ESG strategy, road map for short term & long term ESG goals and collaborate with various stake holders, including senior management, employees, customers, and external partners, to drive ESG strategies and integrate sustainability principles throughout the organization.

• Responsible for coordinating the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data and metrics.

• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders, including management, regulators, customers, and employees. This may involve producing sustainability reports, participating in ESG rating assessments, and responding to the data requests.

• Follow ESG reporting trends and developments in ESG data disclosure landscape, benchmark best practices and provide recommendations on to continue improving ESG data disclosures

• Responsible for developing and delivering training programs to educate employees about ESG issues, climate change, decarbonation, certifications, energy efficiency, best practices and their role in achieving ESG goals.

• Support efforts to respond to key ESG surveys, ratings and rankings prioritized by the Company specifically as it relates to ESG performance data.

• Support for GHG scope 1,2 & 3 calculation and reporting as per WRI Guidelines.

• Responsible for making GHG reduction plan, implementation throughout the organization for long term net zero target.

• Life cycle assessment, EPD and analysis of proposed modifications.

• Research external industries & global trends and conduct competitive analysis in order to identify opportunities and make recommendations for application within the organization .

Administer the online platform used for data collection and audit, prepare instructions and guidance materials for data providers on how to use the system and submit high- quality auditable data. Serve as a point of contact for the external vendor providing the platform service.

• Assisting with report preparation, including internal and external reports as per the requirement.

• Basic understanding with banned materials list; able to identify where materials are and ways to limit or phase out.
• Competent with sustainability terms, common certifications, and how these apply to materials and products.
  • Proficient with all certifications help to complete sustainability deliverables and create analysis tools with no direction (BIFMA, LCA, C2C, Declare, Green building, LEED)

• understanding of CSR goals; Provide solutions to positively impact CSR goals. Works with CSR team to identify and complete new initiatives

• Develops and presents minor and major projects
  • Support for certifications like IMS, BIFMA, BIS etc .
