About This Role
We're looking for a full-time Information Security Engineer to join our Security team reporting to the Manager, Security Engineering. This role is a hybrid role based out of our Hyderabad, India, location.

In this role, you'll play a key role in implementing security recommendations from various Security monitoring solutions, such as CSPM/CWPP, Native Cloud Security detection tools like AWS guardduty, Security Hub, Inspector. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in working in a multi-cloud environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with teams like Techops and Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, managing the security tools within the infrastructure and triaging alerts.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and improve the security posture of AWS, Azure, and GCP environments using native and third-party tools.
• Implement and manage cloud security configurations in line with CIS Benchmarks, industry best practices, and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
• Coordinate and execute remediation activities with cloud engineering teams to address identified vulnerabilities
• Perform cloud vulnerability assessments, manage remediation with Techops/Devops teams, and track closure.
• Develop and implement security automation to streamline remediation processes
• Threat detection and response in the cloud (AWS GuardDuty, AWS Detective, Google Security Command Center)
• Work with DevOps teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborating with Techops and an external SOC provider on incident-related matters
• Producing cloud alerts and incidents metrics for high level management reports

This is not a complete list of responsibilities, and the scope of the role may evolve with the needs of the team and business.
What We're Looking For

• [2-3] years of relevant experience and a B-tech Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience), required.
• Hands-on experience in securing AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

• Strong understanding of

• IAM and access controls in cloud

• Network security in cloud (VPC, Security Groups, NSGs, Firewall rules)
• Cloud logging and monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudTrail, Azure Monitor, GCP Cloud Logging)

• Data protection (encryption at rest/in transit, KMS)

• Familiarity with cloud-native security tools (AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, GCP Security Command Center) and CSPM platforms (Lacework Wiz, etc.).

• Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Securonix, Sumologic, or any UEBA tool).
• Good understanding of incident response and security investigation workflows.
• Any Cloud certification on Security from the cloud Provider(preferably AWS, or Azure/GCP)
• Good communication skills, since the teammate needs to work with cross teams across the organization

Optional

• Basic understanding Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR.
