Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Security Officer based in Hyderabad. The Information Security Officer will oversee and manage the organization's information security programs, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining information security management systems, ensuring data privacy compliance, establishing business continuity plans, conducting cybersecurity assessments, and responding to security incidents. The candidate will work closely with the IT and management teams to analyze potential risks, develop strategies to mitigate threats, and drive compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Information Security Management processes
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity practices and the ability to conduct risk analyses and security assessments
  • Understanding of Data Privacy regulations and ability to ensure compliance
  • Experience in developing and implementing Business Continuity plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to security incidents effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
