Role & responsibilities

  • Perform client audits to assess compliance with internal and external information security policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Assist with preparing and conducting internal security audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with clients to evaluate their security posture and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks within client environments.
  • Support security audits related to systems, networks, applications, and databases, ensuring compliance with policies and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Worked on emerging technologies ISO 42000, AI / ML implementation and audit projects
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and security best practices to ensure that the organization and its clients remain compliant.
  • Prepare audit reports that summarize findings, recommend improvements, and track remediation efforts for both internal and client security audits.
  • Assist in the preparation for external audits, coordinating with auditors and ensuring all necessary documentation is available.
  • Review and assess security policies and procedures to ensure they are compliant with client needs and regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients in addressing any audit findings and ensuring timely remediation.
  • Work closely with IT and security teams to implement security controls, ensure vulnerability management, and improve overall security posture.
  • Participate in ongoing training and awareness programs to stay current on industry trends and developments in information security and compliance.

Required Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • 5–12 years of experience in cyber security or information security roles
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and DLP tools
  • Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, ISO 27001 LA
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
  • Hands-on experience with security tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, Symantec DLP, Qualys
