  • Systematically identify diverse needs of the poor, understand and define the role of sustainable development, poverty alleviation and decentralized energy.
  • Create and deploy innovative solutions that positively impact well- being, health, education and livelihoods towards the alleviation of poverty.
  • Foster the development of enabling conditions or an ecosystem through holistic thought processes in technology, finance, entrepreneurship and policy. Currently the foundation works across 10 states in India.

Rationale of the Position: Manager Energy for Health Projects, Vendor Management, Budget Management, Payment Processing and Approvals, Tender Management, Negotiations, Soft Procurement, Bench Marking, PO Trackers, Cross Team Functionality and Documentation, manage events and all other activities assigned for all the works of SELCO Foundation is the key role of this position:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Position will need to manage Energy for Health projects.
  • Manager Vendors, Sourcing of Vendors, Evaluations, Negotiations, etc.
  • Floating and Co-ordinating for Tenders, RFQs.
  • Manage Purchase Orders, Work Order and Service Agreement, Compliances and ensure on time completion of projects.
  • Negotiation with vendor for best price, lead time, services, monitor O&M.
  • Manage team of 3 members and work with Cross Functional Team to ensure organization goal is achieved.
  • Identifying new vendors for Selco Foundation requirements.
  • Verifying invoice, installation reports and closing the PO-WO.
  • MIS, and other analysis.

Desirable Profile

  • Degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 12 to 15 years' experience in Solar procurement.
  • Must have good people management and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, ability to multitask and operate with minimal guidance
