JobDescription Job Title: DeputyGeneral Manager (DGM) – Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)Location: Hyderabad, IndiaExperience: 18 – 25 YearsReports To: Head– Quality / COO / Project Director Position OverviewThe DGM – QA/QC will lead the organization's QualityAssurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring all projects, processes, anddeliverables meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Theincumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems,managing audits, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence toapplicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Quality Management &Governance• Develop, implement, and maintain theorganization's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO andindustry standards.• Establish and enforce QA/QC policies,procedures, and inspection protocols across projects.• Define quality objectives, KPIs, and continuousimprovement plans in coordination with project and functional teams.• Ensure all documentation, records, and reportsare accurate, traceable, and compliant.Project Quality Control• Oversee QA/QC activities across all projectphases — design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.• Approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), MethodStatements, and Quality Control Procedures.• Conduct quality audits, inspections, andsurveillance to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.• Manage non -conformance reports (NCRs), rootcause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).• Coordinate with clients, consultants, andthird -party agencies for inspections, approvals, and quality certifications.Vendor & Material Quality• Review and approve vendor QA/QC documentation,inspection plans, and material certifications.• Ensure material traceability, testing, andinspection at vendor facilities and project sites.• Evaluate supplier performance and supportprocurement in vendor qualification.Leadership & Team Development• Lead a multidisciplinary QA/QC team acrossmultiple sites and business verticals.• Build and develop team capabilities throughcoaching, training, and mentoring.• Promote a culture of quality excellence,accountability, and continuous improvement.Compliance & Reporting• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory,and customer quality requirements.• Prepare and present regular quality performancereports, audits, and dashboards to senior management.• Liaise with external certification bodies forISO and other quality audits. Key Skills & Competencies• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001, and relevant industry codes (ASME, ASTM, API,BIS, etc.).• Proven experience in implementing and managinglarge -scale QA/QC systems in EPC / infrastructure / manufacturing environments.• Excellent analytical, problem -solving, anddecision -making skills.• Strong leadership, communication, andstakeholder management abilities.• Proficiency in quality management tools anddigital reporting systems. Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical /Civil / Electrical or related discipline).• Master's degree or specialization in QualityManagement preferred.• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., LeadAuditor ISO 9001 / Six Sigma / TQM) desirable.• 18–25 years of experience, with at least 5–8years in a senior QA/QC leadership role.
